High res geo 11,354 tris, lod1 1,184 tris, lod2 556 tris, lod 3 62 tris. Our team dropped the rudder that was modeled in the hi-res geo.
Process: Model the hi-res using the reference linked above. Re-topo the hi-res geo to under 3k tris for level of detail 1. UV and texture in Substance Painter. Using xNormal or substance painter, bake the AO and adjust accordingly to match the hi-res geo. Duplicate and Reduce Lod 1 tri-count by 50-70% as Lod 2 using the same texture as Lod 1. Re-topo Lod1 under 100 tris for Lod 3 and UV. Using Maya to transfer maps from lod1 to lod3. Adjust in photoshop if there are negative black space.
These models will then be introduced into Creator, and Terra Vista for a flight simulation training by Quantum 3D.
